PhreesiaOnCall: Now available at no cost

This fall, ConnectOnCall joined Phreesia and became PhreesiaOnCall. PhreesiaOnCall is an automated answering solution that keeps on-call providers happy and makes their jobs easier. We are excited to offer PhreesiaOnCall to all current clients at no additional cost!

Using answering services to handle after-hours patient calls can lead to documentation issues, delayed care and frustrated providers and staff. On top of that, these third-party services often cost more than the value they deliver. PhreesiaOnCall provides a better way to manage after-hours calls and communicate with patients.

We’re excited to help you:

  • Provide better after-hours care in less time
  • Avoid unnecessary interruptions
  • Easily document every call to ensure patients receive the follow-up care they need
  • Securely communicate with patients via convenient, HIPAA-compliant text messaging

Contact your Phreesia representative to get started with PhreesiaOnCall.

MediFind: Claim multiple physicians’ profiles at once

To make claiming your providers’ MediFind profiles as easy as possible, we have released a Bulk Upload feature that allows you to claim multiple providers at once and add them to your organization within MediFind.

Now, you’ll be able to save time when claiming MediFind profiles and manage your providers’ profiles all in one place.

As a reminder, by claiming your physicians’ free profiles, you can:

  • Update your physicians’ information and make it easy for patients to reach your organization
  • Get more views by making your profile stand out
  • Get matched with patients looking for your physicians’ unique expertise
  • Drive more incremental appointments and revenue
After you create a MediFind account, you will be brought to this screen. Click the ‘+’ button to start claiming profiles.
To claim multiple profiles at once, select the “Switch to Bulk Entry” button.
You can then copy and paste a list or upload a file of physician NPIs and email addresses. If you’re uploading a file, NPIs should be in the first column and email addresses in the second.

Access eForms: Digitize forms across your organization

This summer, Phreesia acquired Access eForms, an innovative company helping hospitals across the country digitize forms, streamline acute-care workflows, improve compliance and make the e-signature process more patient-centered.

The Access solution helps acute clients in three key ways:

  • Optimize the patient, provider and staff experience
    • Eliminate staff burden associated with paper workflows
    • Allow for provider customization for form design
    • Provide a digital option that’s easier to read and use
  • Increase operational efficiency
    • Reduce paper waste
    • Save staff time by using embedded workflows in MEDITECH and Cerner Dashboards
  • Prioritize quality and regulation
    • Increased informed consent compliance
    • Exclusion-based workflows to ensure no consents slip through the cracks

Keep an eye out for improvements and enhancements to Access eForms products going forward.

Appointments

MediFind/Appointments Hub Integration – Now GA

Previously, Phreesia clients were able to make our appointment request form available on their websites and in email communications, but we couldn’t help new patients find providers that treat their conditions via MediFind itself. Now, by offering integrated appointment requests on MediFind, we can help organizations market to a wider patient audience and fill their provider schedules.

We offer integration for appointment requests submitted through MediFind. A standard MediFind appointment request form can be added to provider profiles, and requests will integrate into the Appointments Hub in the Phreesia dashboard.

The beta has been completed, and this feature is now generally available to all Phreesia clients at no additional cost! More than 1,500 provider profiles already offer appointment requests.

Claim your physician profile(s) and reach out to your Phreesia representative to get started.

Appointments Hub: Reminder Column Sorting

With this release, we’re improving how the “Reminders” column is sorted in the Appointments Hub. We’re making it easier to organize the list by requests with a reminder vs. without a reminder by allowing you to sort by expiration date. Now, you can quickly find the most recently expired reminders or requests that need immediate follow-up.

When the Reminder column is clicked once:

  • List will be organized by requests with a reminder at the top and requests without a reminder at the bottom
  • Requests with a reminder will be sorted from most expired to furthest out
  • Requests without a reminder will be sorted by date created (oldest to newest)

When clicked again:

  • List will be organized by requests without reminder at the top and requests with a reminder at the bottom
  • Requests without a reminder should be sorted by date created (newest to oldest)
  • Requests with a reminder should be sorted from furthest expiration date to most recently expired

This feature will be automatically enabled in the Appointments Hub.

Appointments Hub: Skip Communications at Request Level

We’re adding a setting to the Appointments Hub that can restrict automated communications at the request level. You’ll see this in two places:

  • On the “Add Appointment Request” overlay to disable the “request received” communication
  • On the “Scheduling” overlay to disable the “patient scheduled” communication

The setting will give you more control over how your organization sends communications to your patients and improves the patient experience by preventing unnecessary or duplicate messages.

This feature will be automatically enabled in the Appointments Hub.

Communications

Direct Fax Line (DFL) Status Enhancement

We’re adding a new field to the “fax” tab to help you track fax statuses when managing referrals.

Until now, faxes received were brought into the “fax” tab without information about whether the fax was successful or if there had been an error. This update will provide clarity on the status of each fax, so you can reach out to senders to request fixes if needed.

This feature will be automatically enabled.

Phreesia Patient Feedback Enablement

The Phreesia Patient Feedback interview asks the person completing intake to rate their check-in experience and ensures you are receiving feedback from patients about their intake experience on the Phreesia platform.

We will add this interview to the end of all non-change-control intake workflows starting December 12. Clients who have change-control processes in place will not be affected by this change.

New PHR: Screening Checklist for Contraindications to Vaccine (Flu) 2.0 Versions

We now offer the updated versions of the PHR: Screening Checklist for Contraindications to Flu Vaccines modules.

This screening helps clinicians determine which flu vaccine patients may be given by checking for specific contraindications. We now offer both updated versions of the intranasal and injectable vaccines.

For additional details or enablement instructions, please reach out to your Phreesia representative.

New PHR: Screening Checklist for Contraindications to Vaccines Global Module Suite

We now offer the following modules:

  • PHR: Screening Checklist for Contraindications to Vaccines – Children/Teens
  • PHR: Screening Checklist for Contraindications to Vaccines –  Adults
  • PHR: Screening Checklist for Contraindications to Vaccines – HPV, MenACWY, MenB, Tdap Teens

These modules help clinicians determine which vaccines patients may and may not receive by checking for specific contraindications, and can be used in general vaccination administration workflows that do not have specific screenings associated with them.

For additional details or enablement instructions, please reach out to your Phreesia representative.

New PHR: Vaccine Information Sheets

We now offer the following vaccine information sheets:

  • PHR: COVID-19 VIS
  • PHR: VIFS Pfizer COVID-19 6 months—11 years
  • PHR: RSV Preventive Antibody IIS

The RSV immunization sheet provides helpful information, including the benefits of receiving an RSV-preventive antibody.

The COVID-19 sheets contain information to help patients understand the risks and benefits of COMIRNATY (COVID-19 Vaccine, mRNA), the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine and the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent.

Your organization may find these sheets useful because the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requires that everyone receiving vaccines authorized under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) also receive certain vaccine-specific EUA information. Often, this is the EUA Fact Sheet for Recipients and Caregivers.

The Fact Sheet is similar in purpose and content to vaccine information statements (VISs) for licensed vaccines. However, the EUA Fact Sheets are specific to each authorized COVID-19 vaccine, developed by the manufacturer of the vaccine and authorized by the FDA.

For additional details or enablement instructions, please reach out to your Phreesia representative.

New PHR: Cancer History Global Module Suite

We now offer a set of global modules that ask patients about their personal and family history of cancer, allowing providers more insight into their patients’ cancer risks.

The global module suite assesses the following cancer risks:

  • Breast cancer
  • Colorectal cancer
  • Endometrial (uterine) cancer
  • Lynch-associated cancer
  • Ovarian cancer
  • Pancreatic cancer
  • Prostate cancer

For additional details or enablement instructions, please reach out to your Phreesia representative.
