Receive referral

After a death in his family, Chris has been struggling with persistent sadness. His physician refers him to a nearby behavioral health practice that uses Phreesia, so the referral is automatically tracked and digitized. Then, the practice sends Chris an automated message confirming his referral—along with a link for him to self-schedule an appointment.

Chris clicks the link and is taken to a scheduling form. The form is customized to match Chris to the right appointment type, provider and location.

Complete registration

A few days before the visit, Chris receives a text message or email prompting him to pre-register. He confirms his demographic information, medical history and insurance coverage, then provides his e-signature for applicable consents.
