Communications

Jump straight to patient communication history – no extra steps needed

What’s new: Patient names within the Patient Outreach Manager are now clickable. When clicked, you’ll be able to select “View Communications” to see all past outreach and update contact details as needed.

How this helps you: Save time with instant access to patient communication history, delivery details, and contact updates.

Next step: This update is automatically available.

Know your Health Campaigns audience size at a glance

What’s new: Participant counts have been added to the “Active” and “Pending” tabs within Health Campaigns.

How this helps you: You’ll now see the total number of participants at the top of each tab – no more guesswork or manual counting. This gives you immediate insight into how many patients are active or pending in a campaign and eliminates the need to scroll or export data to determine campaign size.

Next step: This update is automatically available.

Clearer insight into your Health Campaigns’ performance is here

What’s new: You can now see when a message has been delivered to the patient’s device, or if a patient unsubscribes further communication after receiving a Health Campaign.

How this helps you: We’ve removed ambiguity from a “sent” status by knowing exactly when a message was delivered. This gives your team greater confidence in your outreach and optimization for future campaign strategies.

Next step: This update is automatically available.

Simplified email delivery for patients sharing an address

What’s new: Patients who share the same email address will no longer receive duplicate email announcements from practices. Only one announcement will be sent per email address.

How this helps you: Your team can continue to maintain clean and professional communications with your patients.

Next step: This update is automatically available.

Manage chat templates with confidence – regardless of different locations

What’s new: If a location tied to an existing chat template is deactivated, the existing templates will now be retained and can be reassigned to a new location as your team sees fit.

How this helps you: Your team can now confidently manage chat templates by location without interruption.

Next step: This update is automatically available.

Transparency for changes to custom communication templates

What’s new: Your team can now see who made changes, and when, to custom communication templates.

How this helps you: This update makes it easier to improve team accountability and audit/track updates to patient communications without manual work.

Next step: Start reviewing your template change history anytime in the Security Log section within Reports & Settings.

Phreesia Library

Phreesia offers a library of standardized tools and best-practice content designed to align with industry recommendations and increase completion rates. These pre-built modules can be seamlessly added to your existing intake workflows. Organizations that use these modules see a 9.5% lower drop rate, and patients complete interviews 48.8% faster compared to custom content.

We deploy new and updated content every release.

Standardized tools

We now offer the following clinically validated patient-reported outcomes (PROs).

Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI)

This screening checklist can be used for parents of children from birth to age 5 to assess speech and language delays that may be early signs of hearing loss. We recommend using the EHDI as an initial screening tool to identify patients who require further evaluation for possible hearing and speech problems.

Parent/Guardian Rated Level 1 Cross-Cutting Symptom Measure – Child

This 25-item tool can be used to assess 12 psychiatric domains in pediatric patient populations.
