The Patient Activation Measure® (PAM®) Performance Measure for MIPS-participating providers

The Patient Activation Measure (PAM) measures patients’ knowledge, skills and confidence in self-managing their health. Increasing patient activation has been shown to improve health outcomes, reduce costs and increase patient satisfaction.

PAM is now available for MIPS-participating providers for performance year 2024. Registering here allows participants in the MIPS program to access the PAM survey and supplementary materials, provided at no cost to MIPS-participating clinicians by Phreesia, the measure steward.
