25.14 Release Notes

Faster patient payments with Push to Mobile Wallet

What’s new:  Phreesia users can text patients a secure payment link, so they can complete fast, contactless payments via Apple Pay or Google Pay.

How this helps you: This update gives your patients a faster, more flexible payment option when they don’t have a card on hand or prefer using a mobile wallet—helping your staff collect payments more efficiently and enhance the patient experience.

This feature is automatically available for all clients processing payments through Phreesia. Not processing payments with Phreesia yet? Learn how to get started.

Payments

Manage which bills patients can view and pay by removing those that need staff review in Patient Bill Pay

What’s new: You can now remove a bill from the patient’s view and total responsibility using the “Unapprove Bill” button in the Bills tab of the Patient Billing Manager.

How this helps you: Your team can prevent patients from seeing or being notified about balances that your staff intends to review or adjust.

Using Payment Assurance, and want to capture more of the revenue you’ve already earned? Learn about moving to Patient Bill Pay.

Patient Access

What’s new: Clients using Appointment Accelerator can now select from multiple SMS template options instead of one single default. This update also lets patients claim appointments with both numbers or keywords, based on your organization’s preferred settings.

How this helps you: This enhancement lets you tailor your outreach to better reflect scheduling nuances or appointment-specific requirements. By customizing messages, you can more clearly communicate important details and drive better patient response rates.

Not using Appointment Accelerator yet? See how you can keep your schedule full—automatically.

Cleaner template selection in the Patient Outreach Manager

What’s new: When creating a campaign, the template dropdown will now exclude hidden or unused templates.

How this helps you: By removing irrelevant templates from view, it’s easier and faster to find what you need, reducing staff frustration and simplifying the template selection process.

Registration

What’s new: Version 25.14 of the Phreesia Registration app is now available for PadX and ArrivalsX devices.

How this helps you: Stay current with the most secure and reliable version of the Phreesia Registration app for both PadX and ArrivalsX.

Next Step:

  • Own your PadX or ArrivalsX? Manually upgrade and restart your devices.
  • Rent your PadX or ArrivalsX? Just restart—we’ll handle the upgrade during after-hours maintenance. Make sure devices are on Wi-Fi and charging.
  • Thinking about switching to PadX? Enhance your check-in process—get yours today.

What’s new: We’ve automatically added two new welcome modules, “Are you the patient?” and “Education”, at the start of all workflows to support accurate and compliant intake.

How this helps you: The “Are You the Patient?” module identifies whether the person completing intake is the patient or an authorized representative. It’s designed for use across clinical and non-clinical settings and ensures HIPAA-compliant data capture—even when someone is completing intake on the patient’s behalf. The “Education” module welcomes the user and explains why updating their information is important, replacing “who is signing” consent questions.

Standardized preferred pharmacy selection across your organization

What’s new: The Preferred Pharmacy module, which allows patients to search for preferred pharmacies using location and name, is now required.

How this helps you: This supports accurate medication fulfillment and a smoother patient experience.

Easily manage Provider Priority from the dashboard

What’s new: Provider priority can now be edited directly from the Phreesia dashboard, without having to contact Support.

How this helps you: This update gives you more control over appointment configurations, especially for multi-appointment visits. Provider priority can determine which appointment is considered the primary one, which affects how intakes are triggered and delivered. By making this editable, your team can manage changes quickly and independently.

Support

Chat with our support team directly from the Support Portal

What’s new: Your team can now chat directly with Phreesia Support through the Support Portal.

How this helps you: This new chat feature provides a faster, more convenient way to connect with our Support team—no need to send an email or wait on a phone call. Whether you have a quick question or need real-time help, you can now get the assistance you need directly from the portal.

Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS)

This 42-item self-report questionnaire measures symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress over the past week, providing clinicians with a standardized method to assess emotional distress across three domains.
