Available now

Claim your NP and PA profiles on MediFind!

Previously, only practicing physicians with the certifications MD, DO, MBBS or DPM were listed on MediFind. But now, we’ve automatically created MediFind profiles for your nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs), giving patients even more ways to schedule an appointment with your organization.

Claim your NPs’ and PAs’ profiles today to get more patients! Once claimed, we recommend adding a profile picture to instantly get more views. You can then also review and update profile information, including addresses and specialties, to make sure you’re attracting the right patients.

Beta

Improvements to photo capture on desktop registration

We’ve made it easier for patients to upload photos while completing their registration on a desktop. They can choose between uploading a saved image or taking a new photo with their webcam. This update will help encourage more patients to submit photos of their insurance cards or other images that your organization requests.

This feature is currently available to members of the beta program. For additional information and enablement instructions, please contact your Phreesia representative.

Appointment Accelerator

Auto-reply to unexpected text messages

We’ve added a new SMS template to our text message communications that will automatically reply to patients who send an unexpected response after they have already claimed an appointment.

The new message will inform patients that their appointment has already been scheduled successfully and direct them to contact your organization if they have further questions. It will reduce confusion for anyone attempting to communicate with the automated Appointment Accelerator system.

This feature will be automatically available to all organizations using Appointment Accelerator.

Eligibility and Benefits

Automated E&B now available for mental health providers

We now support automated eligibility and benefits (E&B) checks and copay selection for outpatient mental health provider benefits.

That means staff no longer need to manually run these benefits checks by clicking the Additional Data button—or to manually select copays for these patients.

For additional details or enablement instructions, please reach out to your Phreesia representative.

MediFind

Appointment request notifications

To ensure your staff can see incoming requests from MediFind profiles as quickly as possible, we’ll now send real-time email notifications when a patient submits a request through MediFind. The emails will include requested provider, requested location and a direct link to the request in the Appointments Hub.

This feature will be automatically enabled in the coming weeks for all organizations using MediFind appointment requests. We’ll enable email notifications for all users, and you can visit your Dashboard to adjust who receives them.

Privacy and security

Dashboard two-factor authentication

We have introduced two-factor authentication (2FA) as an added security option to help you keep your organization’s data and your patients’ protected health information secure.

You can choose to allow Dashboard users to verify 2FA via text message and/or via email.

For additional details or enablement instructions, please reach out to your Phreesia representative.
