Form Catalog

Catalog Screen IconThe Catalog tab allows you to upload new forms and manage all facets of form publication and data collection.  This form publishing life cycle starts by analyzing the information requirements of an organization, and then creating a new form in Formatta Designer to support these requirements.  Once the form is designed, it can be uploaded to Formatta E-Forms Manager using the New Form screen.

Once forms are uploaded to Formatta E-Forms Manager, a progress bar graphically displays the life cycle of each version of a form.

Form Management Properties

New forms are automatically staged and made available for review and editing by authorized Form Administrators.  Staged forms can be revised, and properties associated with a particular version (Form Management Properties) can be specified for signing, submission, and data export.

Approval Process

Before publication, form versions and their associated properties are reviewed by Form Administrators.  Form Management Properties can be revised and then approved for publication.  Formatta E-Forms Manager automatically tracks changes to the form version and updates the database accordingly.

Publishing Process

Versions of forms can be scheduled for publication in the future, or immediately published to end users via the Available Forms web page, dynamically generated by Formatta E-Forms Manager.  Form versions can be expired on an emergency basis using the End Publishing button, or can gracefully expire using the Publish End date.

Using the Catalog Tab

The Catalog tab displays options for managing the life cycle of forms and versions of forms.  Each option in the list (except for the New Form option) allow you to find forms in the catalog so that you can view and edit their properties.  The New Form option allows you to start the process of adding a new form to the catalog.
