After installing Formatta E-Forms Manager, you must register the software using a license obtained through the Licensing section within E-Forms Manager Administration.
Beginning with version 7.1, Formatta E-Forms Manager employs a Capacity-Based licensing model. This model allows you to choose a license for your installation that corresponds to the number of e-form submissions you expect to process annually, providing great flexibility in terms of cost. Note that, even though your price will be based on annual submissions, this only requires a one-time purchase. There is no recurring annual license fee based on submissions, aside from maintenance and support costs.
At any time, you may obtain an updated license that allows for a different number of annual submissions.
Before you register your Formatta E-Forms Manager license, you will want to consider the following licensing options:
Decide whether you want an Evaluation or Perpetual license.
Evaluation: An evaluation license may be obtained immediately, and is good for 45 days from the date of issue. After it expires, you may always re-register the software using a perpetual license. The evaluation license provides all of the same features and functions as the perpetual license, but for a limited time.
Perpetual: A perpetual license will work indefinitely, unless you have been issued a temporary license for demonstration or extended evaluation purposes.
When you first install Formatta E-Forms Manager, if you want to start using it immediately, obtain an Evaluation license first. Since an Evaluation license is provided immediately, you may start using Formatta E-Forms Manager right away. You can then follow up with a request for a Perpetual license any time thereafter.
When you register for a Perpetual license, you will be asked to choose an annual submission capacity value, ranging from 25,000 to 1 million submissions per year. All Evaluation licenses are automatically given 5,000 submissions.
Note that once you have registered Formatta E-Forms Manager you will be able to request a license change at any time.
