Form Expiration

In the paper world, forms have an expiration date.  Paper forms can list their expiration date (such as federal OMB forms), so users understand they shouldn't fill out an expired form.   But what about electronic forms?

 

Well, Formatta forms can expire just like paper forms.  This means you can save printing, storage, and distribution costs because your users will always have the most up-to-date forms.

 

Using Formatta, it's possible to specify a form expiration date -- whether the form is stored on someone's local hard drive or online. If a user opens an expired form, Formatta Filler notifies him/her the form is expired, and offers to automatically load an updated version.

Using Form Expiration

To make your forms expire, select Summary Info from the Form Menu in Formatta Designer.  On the Form Summary tab, enter the date the form expires in the Expiration field.
