Phreesia's new Ottawa office
Phreesia opened its Ottawa Office in October 2007, established to acquire and support its growing network of US physicians. The Ottawa center will take advantage of the latest technologies to be seamlessly integrated with our New York headquarters.
Position
This is a HANDS-ON Junior Automation QA Engineer position which will require intimate knowledge of Phreesia’s users, customers and architecture. Experience in web application automation testing and knowledge in .NET development is a must.
Phreesia develops software using the .NET framework for a suite of products which include server side web services, web portals, windows CE client software, and reporting tools.
This position requires the following skills:
- 1+ year of experience testing web applications, user includes experience with automated testing tools and testing techniques
- 1+ years of experience with TestComplete development for script modification and writing test automation scripts from scratch
- Proven experience in writing manual and automated test scripts
- Experience in converting manual tests into automated test scripts
- Experience in writing detailed test plans, test cases, test scripts, creating test data, test execution, and creating defects
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, verification and validation processes
- Knowledge and experience with web application architecture, relational database, Microsoft .NET and related technologies: C#, HTML, JavaScript, Windows CE
- Ability to multi-task, shift gears quickly, work independently and collaboratively, adapt easily to shifting priorities, process changes, and schedule changes
- Experience with Agile testing methodologies is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communications; ability to explain issues clearly and concisely and establish effective working relationships; Russian language is a plus
- Experience with TestComplete is a plus
- Write, maintain and execute automated TestComplete regression testing scripts
- Troubleshoot manual and automated test execution failures and resolve issues encountered during test execution
- Run / assist in running the regression test scripts with each new build during development
- Work with developers to understand new features and bugs to be tested in releases
- Work with client services to determine client issues when escalated to software engineering
- Create bug reports and follow through to resolution
- Verify bug fixes prior to software release
- Configure, administer, and troubleshoot software test environments
- Participate in regression, load and performance testing
