The Deployment Manager is responsible for maintaining Phreesia’s specialized ASP based application for it’s physician clients as well as internal IT duties. Phreesia’s IT environment is Windows based, and the application runs on the .NET 2.0 platform and is supported by SQL Server 2005. The Deployment Manager will support all internal servers, workstations and databases.
This position will perform the following duties:
Responsibilities:
- Support the application development team(s) on application release process and configuration management process.
- Install, configure and maintain high availability of the Phreesia web application
- Manage servers hosted locally as well as those outsourced.
- Manage Network Security, Anti-Virus system, Backup system, VOIP system, Managed Exchange
- Assist in the troubleshooting of application errors in collaboration with the Technical Support team
- Work on weekends/Off hours when performing network upgrades and product releases
- Implement / Manage database clustering and web server load balancing
- Maintain build and test environments
- 24 x 7 on call availability for emergencies
Experience/qualifications:
- 5 Years experience with Windows Administration
- SQL Server database administration experience
- Knowledge of application build tools and best practices as well as source control tools and build automation. Specifically, nAnt, CruiseControl, TestComplete and SVN
- Bachelor's Degree
- MCSE Certifications for Windows Server, SQL Server 2005 or equivalent experience.
- Solid understanding of HTTP request cycle, HTML rendering, web application structures and design patterns Familiarity or experience with Healthcare technology applications, eg. EMR
- Basic programming skills a plus
- Experience managing high security networks (PCI compliance, HIPAA) a plus
- Strong Communication Skills, both written and verbal
