Phreesia is a young, fast growing start up company looking for a passionate, self starting, and highly motivated Associate Product Manager. Phreesia is free to physicians in participating practices. The Phreesia solution includes the leading edge PhreesiaPad™ which adds immediate value to the physician’s practice by gathering comprehensive intake information and chief complaints, decreasing the time spent asking basic questions, improving patient flow and reducing administrative time. Based on the patient’s responses they are automatically taken to a customized portal with relevant health and lifestyle information. Phreesia is sponsored by pharmaceutical and healthcare companies with relevant educational communications to patients at the point of care.
We are looking for a young, enthusiastic associate product manager with technical experience in software and/or hardware development. The product manager will be responsible for expanding and refining the Phreesia service by working with our internal team as well as partners and physician practices to gather and document requirements for our products.
This position will perform the following duties:
- Requirements Analysis and Definition: You will be responsible for gathering business requirements from product marketing, support and senior management as well as market demands, and you will help prioritize them.
- Product Specifications: You will take the prioritized requirements and your knowledge of usability considerations to create clear functional specs for the engineering team to use as a development blueprint.
- Project Management: You will keep track of the components of new product releases and enhancements, and work with tech/biz/ops teams to schedule them.
- Market Testing: You will experiment with interface/flow/copy on all applications analyze the effects on network usage and physician/patient feedback.
- User Testing: You will participate in frequent user testing sessions, lead testers through sessions, interpret results, and present recommendations.
- Copy Writing and Editing: You will be responsible for composing product copy; you must be capable of writing clear, friendly, error-free copy.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- A functional understanding of current web technologies and standards
- Hands-on experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and .NET technologies
- The ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with executives, programmers, and our support team with equal ease
